Hafiz Ilyas
Saquafi Al Azhari was born in a village called Padladka, a border place of
Badiadka and Puthige Panchayat in Kasaragod District of Kerala India on
18th April 1985. He got his basic
religious education in Noorul Islam Madrassa Bapaliponam and completed primary
and upper primary education at Aided Senior Basic School Kuntikana. Then he went to Anjuman Taleemul Quran
College Nallalam and Ainul Huda Hifz College Kappad to by heart the Holy Quran.
The final institution to complete by hearting the Holy Quran was Jamia Markazu Ssaquafathi Ssunniyya and got
the certificate of Hafiz from Markaz Hifzul Quran College in 2000. Then he
passed SSLC Examination In 2006 and completed ‘The central Govt Approved’
Diploma in Arabic & Urdu In 2007 & 2008 with outstanding marks. He also
completed ‘Adee-bi-fazil’ Preliminary course In 2008 from Calicut University. Then he focused on spiritual education and
passed Course of Jamiathul Azhar - Egypt
from the College of Islamic Thelogy ( Kulliyyathu Usooludheen ) in 2010 with second rank. He started working at Markaz Masjidul Hamily
as Imam and continued for 3 years. His interest in teaching brought him to
Muhimmathul Muslimeen Educational Centre and served as a lecturer in the
department of Quran Research Centre. He was also the Head of Department for
‘Afzal Ul Ulama’ in Womens College under the above said Educational
Centre. At present he is serving as an
Imam at ‘Masjid Al Hisn’ at Falaj Al Mualla Umm Al Quwain UAE under General
authority of Islamic affairs and endowments.
His literary
works are: Athahbeerathul Arabiyyathul
Muhasira (Modern Arabic Usage from Malayalam to Arabic), Iqnahul Muallim Bi Halli Ta’leemul Muta’llim
(Narration of Ta’leemul Muta’llim in Arabic), Quran Manappadam Engane Eluppamakkam (How can Quran be byherted
easily- in Malayalam language).
